Hydrogen is the most plentiful substance that the sun generates in its outer atmosphere, and the most plentiful of our outer atmosphere beyond twenty miles. Our oceans are inexhaustible storehouses of voided hydrogen, which can be regenerated to active hydrogen.

I shall talk to you tonight about the reality of space as an equal partner with the solids of matter, which float in it. I shall also talk to you about the hydrogen age which is at our door, for an intimate knowledge of space is also at our door and it is that knowledge of space which will give us our hydrogen age. Also it will give us our new cosmogony. In fact, the very secrets of life and death, which have eluded man for ages, lie within a knowledge of space.

This subject is very timely because of the concern of the present generation over the fuel problems of future generations. One of our distinguished scientists delivered an address recently, which was pessimistic in regard to future progress. My talk tonight is not only a more hopeful answer, but it is also a general protest against the expanding universe theory, which modern science has conceived out of misinterpretations of natural phenomena. This idea that the universe is committing suicide has grown out of the unbalanced, one-way theory of the universe created by modern science, which investigates matter to form its conclusions and as yet knows practically nothing about space. With a knowledge of space, the dying universe, and its authority in the unbalanced second law of thermodynamics would be impossible.

Our distinguished scientist said that we had nearly reached the end of the tremendous progress of the last century. In fifty years from now, he states, we would be going on about as now with only slight improvements. In fifty years our oil supply will be exhausted; our coal will last for a thousand years, but we will probably not be able to get more work out of a pound of coal than we do now. Hence our enforced stoppage of progress.

Let me quote him: "There are, I think, no other possible sources of power of comparable cheapness. When the oil and coal are gone, we shall get our power directly from the sun through solar motors, or wind mills, or tidal machines, or else directly through growing and burning plants." It is very saddening to hear such an eminent scientist repeat the fears of past ages of men who insisted that we would have to go to bed in the dark when the whales were all killed. But sadder still is the lack of vision of all the scientists who fail to see an unlimited supply of hydrogen, the cheapest and best fuel the world has ever known, waiting for man to use it. Hydrogen is the most plentiful substance, which the sun generates in its outer atmosphere, and the most plentiful of our outer atmosphere beyond twenty miles. Before the whales were all killed, man's intelligence gave us kerosene and gas, then coal and gasoline. Before these are exhausted, his intelligence will give us hydrogen.

Do you realize what the coming of hydrogen in plentiful quantities would mean to the world? Let me stimulate your imagination by picturing an ocean liner manufacturing its own fuel, as it is needed, from either the water under it or the air above it, in one room of the capacity of one or two of its coal bunkers. It would not even need storage space for extra supply, for the hydrogen generators would be in the very fire chambers under the boilers.

Do not tell me that there is no hydrogen in air, for if you do, I will tell you that there is none in water. Water, air, hydrogen, and oxygen are not things; they are conditions of the light of the sun and the dark of space from which they sprang. We Must Know the Secrets of the Structure of Space

Through knowledge, we can supply the conditions that will give us hydrogen by voiding nitrogen as simply as we can supply the conditions that yield those elements by voiding water. By knowing how Nature blankets our earth with miles of hydrogen above the nitrogen and how the sun produces the conditions for making its huge hydrogen bonfires, we can do likewise. To acquire this knowledge one must know the secrets of the structure of space, for space is just fifty percent of the universal potential, a fact which science has not yet suspected.

Science already knows the chemical relation of hydrogen to water, but it has never suspected the spatial relation of hydrogen to nitrogen, which forms 88% of the lower part of the insulating blanket that we call air.

When this spatial relation is known, it will have so great an effect upon the new world of its making that a new chemistry will be ushered into our civilization, a chemistry which will take spatial pressures into partnership with material ones, as it should.

After all, the upper-earth hydrogen blanket is separated (and also insulated) from the surface-of-earth oxygen by the nitrogenous strata of a valence equaling the two. Nitrogen can therefore be easily voided and replaced by incandescent hydrogen, such as is found in the sun's upper atmosphere. Elements of Matter Are Not Permanently Existent

To comprehend my meaning, you must disabuse your minds of the idea that the elements are permanently existent, for they are not. Metals are entirely voided in their salts, oxides, and silicates, and both hydrogen and oxygen are as entirely voided by water as sound is voided by silence. There is no such thing as transmutation of one element into another. One never can become another for each is voided when another condition makes its continuance impossible and another one possible.

Hydrogen flames leap for thousands of miles into the sun's atmosphere, yet there is no hydrogen at all upon the sun's surface until the time of its leaping into flame. If the amount of hydrogen which explodes from the sun's surface in one week existed upon the sun, there would be no sun. It would explode. The sun generates hydrogen and burns it simultaneously, and an ocean liner could do the same.

Elements are not things; they are conditions. Produce a certain condition which is the pattern for hydrogen, or carbon dioxide, or sodium chloride, and they appear from space into which they continually disappear when the conditions are favorable, exactly as apples appear as the solids of apples and disappear as the gases of apples when conditions favor each stage of each cycle.

Science has already discovered the conditions necessary for producing hydrogen by voiding water, but by the primitive, cumbersome, and expensive method known as electrolysis. If the sun could speak, it would be very satirical about the inability of humans to perceive so obvious a thing as the sun's method of solving its fuel problems in plentiful fashion. Elements Are But Different Conditions of Light Pressures

The trouble with humans is in forming wrong conclusions in relation to Nature's expressions. We think, for example, that elements are different substances and that each substance is permanently existent as such. That is not true. Elements are but different conditions of light pressures. They are the raw materials for the fashioning of Creation's images in the patterns controlled by light waves. They appear when the pressure necessary for their conditions appear and disappear when those pressure conditions cease. Every element in each octave occupies its own pressure position in its wave. Each element seems to be a different substance as the electric pressure conditions of each position in each wave of matter changes. However, it is not the substance that changes, it is the condition of the substance.

Voidance and re-creation is one of the simplest and most obvious principles of Nature. I cannot imagine how it has escaped discovery during the centuries. Oxygen, for example, is voided when you breathe it in. You produce a condition that calls for the pattern of carbon dioxide, and oxygen, as raw material, is as voided as though it never was. Iron, likewise, voids oxygen and oxygen voids iron by rusting. And so it goes all down through the octave waves. The True Nature of Space

The greatest error of science is in relation to space. Science thinks of space either as a void or as an ether through which solids of matter travel. Sir Oliver Lodge tried to find a drag in this ether caused by the earth's passage through it, but could not; therefore, he came to the conclusion that there was nothing there.

The fact is that space travels with its solids, for each solid is surrounded by a minus zero equal-and-opposite vacuity of the plus zero which we call matter. Matter floats in these insulating spatial counterparts. Positive electricity is accountable for the solids and negative electricity is accountable for the space.

The potential of solids is unequal, volume for volume, to the space that surrounds it, but space and its solids as wholes are equal to each other in potential. This makes the condition possible for performing what science calls work, which necessitates a high and low potential for inter-oscillation.

The centripetal power of gravity in great whirling nebula as expressed by positive electricity is winding energy uphill into those hot balls of fire, which hang in cold space by those two black arms in each spiral nucleus. Gravitation, uphill flow of energy, and positive electricity are the same thing.

Likewise, the two fiery white arms of such nebula are unwinding the cosmic clock by the centrifugal power of negative electricity, which science calls radiant energy. The black arms represent as great a force as the white suns, for matter is formed from them.

Our scientist friend says that the second law of thermodynamics is as firmly established as the law of gravitation. That could not be possible, for gravitation is an uphill flow of energy (syntropy), and believers in the second law of thermodynamics refuse to concede the possibility of a simultaneous equal and opposite balance between the uphill and downhill flow of energy. In fact, that law is based upon the belief that energy flows only downhill (entropy).

All matter comes out of space by the action of positive electricity and is returned to space by the action of negative electricity. White-hot suns come from the blackness of cold space and cold space radiates from hot suns. The matter of space consists of holes surrounded by corpuscular solids, while the matter of solids consists of small dense cores surrounded by vast tenuous holes of space.

The very purpose of the hot suns is to act as crucibles for melting the raw materials which the Creator needs for expressing the idea of the universe. Contrarily, the very purpose of space is to cool the melted matter set out in order that it may become conditioned for the complex expressions of Creation. The two-way interchange between spatial holes and material solids is continuous.

Space has a structure that gives crystal forms to its solid counterparts. Each pair of solids in the universe is not only separated by its spatial envelope, but is insulated by space from contact with other solids. For this reason, it is impossible for two particles of matter actually to come in contact with each other.

Also, the path of every two solids in the universe is controlled by two foci, which keep the entire universe in balance. One of these foci represents density and the other one represents vacuity. Absolute Balance in Nature

The most conspicuously obvious thing about all cause and effect in this universe is Balance. The second law of thermodynamics reeks with unbalance. It has no place whatsoever in Nature.

The entire universe of motion is expressed by positive and negative electric opposites, which thrust away from each other in just the reverse manner from that which the Coulomb Law sets forth. Positive electricity charges through gravitation (syntropy). The falling rain charges and heats the earth. Negative electricity discharges through radiation (entropy). The rising vapors discharge and cool the earth. Both expressions are equal and opposite. Expansion cannot exceed contraction. Each is actually the cause of the other. They spring from each other and their continuity constitutes a cycle, which could be recorded thus: heat radiates, radiation expands, expansion cools, cold generates, generation contracts, and contraction heats. A New Cosmogony

Time will not permit further development of this idea, so I will conclude by saying that the hydrogen age could be here within a year or two if it were not for the tremendous resistance set up by modern science to the most obvious simple truths of Nature. I know these secrets of space, which will give hydrogen to science, but my cosmogony is so radically different from that of modern science that every attempt to give voice to it meets with the usual fate of those whose ideas do not fit conventional patterns.

In order that it may not be lost to the world, I have put all this knowledge of space and the electric octave wave from which all things come into a book called The Cosmic Plan.1 Any scientist who comprehends the principles laid down in that book can produce hydrogen the way the sun produces it, or the way space enfolds our planet with it.

There are principles laid down in that book which will make a new world, but it cannot be printed until I can print it at my own expense because publishers submit my manuscripts to orthodox physicists for their approval of it. They might as well submit a book by Galileo to the Pope. The Cosmic Plan is a new cosmogony, which differs as much from this present one as the Copernican cosmogony differs from its Ptolemaic predecessor. Naturally, the orthodox believer in the theory of the dying, one-way, unbalanced universe will not approve of a theory of a two-way, balanced, living universe.

Scientists regard me as sort of an interloper in their difficult field, and I do not blame them a bit. As a sculptor I would feel the same about a physicist who thought he could revolutionize sculpture. They call me a mystic or an intuitive with a keen imagination, a person who does not use the recognized legitimate research laboratory methods of gaining knowledge.

The Universe Is But One Thing: LIGHT

I might say in reply that my laboratory is God's whole big universe of all Nature, which I have observed as a thinker and found to be very simple. I see it as a whole, not as many separate parts. To me, the universe is but one thing: light, which is expressed in octave waves of light patterned into different conditions of light, which we call the elements of matter. I do not regard the elements of matter as different substances. To me they are but different conditions of the one thing, which the two opposed electric forces have divided into pairs of many seeming opposite expressions of the one thing from which they sprang.

I see no reason why man should not produce hydrogen the same way that Nature produces it. He has all the tools with which to do it when he but acquires the knowledge of Nature’s methods. Seeming Complexities Confuse Truth is Simple

Scientific observers of grains of sand in laboratories are handicapped by the kaleidoscopic multiplicity of things in their separate universes. They see their many things complexly instead of simply. Hence we find a preponderance of scientists who are merely photographers, mathematicians, statisticians, measurers, and quantity surveyors. There are too few thinkers in science and those who do think see things too complexly. Let me give you an example. Einstein once said, in effect: It may sometime be shown that matter emerges from space, to again be swallowed up in it.

To other physicists, this seemed a very liberal and radical statement. But to me, it sounded as though a man, looking at the sun, were to say: It may sometime be shown that the light which vitalizes things on this earth has its origin in the sun.

I wish to leave with you this one idea” that we are still primates, hardly out of the jungle, and hardly yet able to think. Anyone who tells you that we are near the end of the great progress of the last century is not taking into account our extreme youth as human thinkers. We still have so far to go that the progress of the last century will seem as nothing as compared with what will immediately follow a more intimate knowledge of space.

I. Explanation

This new power and light generator employs a multiplication principle of nature which has not yet entered within the realm of human consciousness, just as the principle of electronics or atomic energy had not entered human consciousness fifty years ago. It is more important than electronics is, however, for it opens the door to a new era in higher electronics, higher mathematics and transmutation.

It is the principle of growth in nature which multiplies one kernel of corn into thousands, or which multiplies (inert gas) gases of minus zero melting points into solids of over 3000°; or multiplies the cold of space into hot stars and novas of incredibly high temperature.

The reason it has never been known is because of the false concept of gravity which assumes it to be a force of attraction which pulls inward from within instead of a cyclic force which controls the compression of cold into heat, and the expansion of heat into cold. Another reason it has never been known is because of our wrong concept of thermodynamics which places heat as the basis of energy instead of cold, of which heat is its sole product, and the consequent law of entropy which provides no uphill flow of energy to balance its downward flow, as fully evidenced in every wave and in every growing body of nature.

Power multiplication is the most conspicuous characteristic of nature. It is amazing to me that it has never yet been discovered, nor has the nature of light, the ONE THING of the universe, been discovered. For this reason the optic nature of matter has not been discovered. If it had been, our research laboratories would not make such primitive coils as those in current use everywhere. Attached to this letter is a drawing showing how coils should be wound to divide light into pairs, but a coil of one section is like one wheel of a pulley which has but a fraction of the power it could have by adding another, and still another wheel, or that a large wheel would be able to impart by gearing a smaller, slower moving wheel to it.

II. Purpose of Optic Generator

The Russell Optic Generator is for the purpose of replacing the present very primitive power generator now in use, which violates every principle which nature makes use of for power generation. The resultant infinitesimal power which it thus generates by friction and induction is not only very costly but it is the hard complex way instead of the easy simple way. Theoretically, the Russell generator should give 4,096 times the power that the present generator gives, but that is mechanically impossible for the reasons which will be given with the drawings. Extended coils of wire weaken with every superimposed layer while lenses contain all of their power within their boundaries.

I believe, however, that even this first try-out model will deliver from 50 to 300 times the power now obtained by the friction and induction process given to the world by Faraday.

It will help to comprehend nature's optical method of power multiplication by pointing out the violations of nature which the present dynamo makes use of.

Nature's first principle of power production and the construction of matter is to produce heat from the cold of space. The heat thus generated radiates back into cold to complete the wave cycle which automatically repeats itself in this ageless universe of an infinite continuity.

Every wave is a perfect dynamo, but the very purpose of waves is to generate heat in its armatures at wave amplitude points. That is the only way waves create matter. Carbon, for example, is the amplitude element of its octave. Its melting point is 3600° centigrade. Every sun in the heavens is flaming carbon, and every sun is the armature of its dynamo-wave.

The present dynamo ignores this basic fact completely. It cools its armature by laminating it. It then rotates its armature the wrong way, because of a belief in non-existent "lines of force" in magnetic fields which they are cutting by thus turning. Nature's armatures rotate upon their axis in planes of their equators, without exception in the universe. All spherical bodies of matter in all this universe are wheels which roll around their orbits on their equatorial rims. They do not spin on their rims around a false equatorial axis, as armatures in modern dynamos are forced to do.

To emulate nature's process a dynamo should generate much heat and become a Reactor, connected with a steam turbine, as Nuclear Reactors operate. The greater the heat thus generated the more power lines can be taken off from the large equatorial wheel which the turbine will motivate.

Every armature in nature gives off many thousands of times more than its cathodes gave to it. Every star is a step-up transformer with four step-ups between the cathode zero and its anode maximum. Each step-up is an octave above its predecessor. Its ratio is as follows: 0 - 8 - 64 - 512 - 4,096. It is this octave step-up multiplication which creates density and raises melting points.

III. The New Thermodynamics

First Law: Cold generates energy. Heat radiates energy. Cold multiplies. It cannot be divided. Heat divides. It cannot be multiplied.

Second Law: Every reaction must be preceded by its equal action. Heat is the reaction of cold. Heat could not come into existence save for the compressive action of cold. (The law of entropy, therefore, has no place in nature.)

Third Law: Cold and heat express their opposition at angles of 90° from each other. Cold extends along axis and the axis of all bodies of creating matter where rotation is minimum, while heat expansion is maximum at equatorial planes where speed of motion is maximum.

Fourth Law: Cold compresses. Compression multiplies cold into heat. Heat expands. Expansion divides heat into cold. Cold and heat, like life and death, constitute a wave cycle. In all nature there is no effect which is not wave created, and all waves are cyclic.

(Again, I repeat, that the law of entropy, and the belief that energy does not run "up-hill", have no place in nature.)

Fifth Law: When motion begins heat begins. This entire universe is a varied measure of the heat of motion. This entire wave universe is a varied measure of heat and motion. Long low waves of low heat potential constitute the invisible light spectrum, while short high waves of high heat potential and low frequencies constitute the visible spectrum. (see infrared)

Sixth Law: The emergence of heating matter in motion from the static cold of space begins at the indigo-blue and blue-violet ends of the spectrum and builds up to the white centered yellow, through red and green, until the maximum heat equatorial plane is reactive at an angle of 90° from the static axis of cold.

Note: The import of the spectrum has been very much neglected in man's cosmogony of a universe which consists of only one thing - LIGHT.

IV. Conclusion

The most tragic lacks which retard scientific progress are:

1. The complete lack of knowledge of the nature of light - the ONE THING of the universe, and the almost complete lack of knowledge of the light-wave which is the worker of nature's miracles.
2. The misconception of the universe as an electro-magnetic one instead of an optical, photo-sensitive, gravity controlled universe of divided light pressures.
3. The complete blank gap in science regarding the sex-principle, and its relation to the spectrum, which causes every element of matter to be created in pairs.
4. The failure to observe that there are four pairs of focal light poles in the bar magnet instead of two. This has caused science to believe that matter is either positively or negatively "charged" instead of being variously conditioned by the octave series of spectrum light pressures of gravity which control the construction of matter. The only approach to this recognition of power-multiplication by science is the orderly octave principle, as shown in the Mendeleef table of the elements and its recognition of valence as a power step-up in chemistry.
5. The misconception of gravity as a force of attraction which pulls inward from within. The only force which motivates the heart beat of this universe is the cyclic wave force of gravity which expands and compresses, heats and cools, integrates and disintegrates, centripetally and centrifugally.
6. The total lack of knowledge of the purpose and workings of the inert gases and their relation to growth control from the seed, and their power multiplication principle which causes all effects of motion to step-up from their zero cold static condition to white hot heat and power conditions.

These are the most important of the many lacks in the scientific structure which complex its cosmogony, and renders laboratory techniques difficult and wasteful.

Any commercial laboratory which had this knowledge would have such a great command over matter that it would be the most powerful corporation on the earth.

It is simultaneously generating. In the attempt to answer the riddle of the cause of solar regeneration let us also consider the cause of its degeneration.

Let us write down a series of effects of motion which represent the tearing-down-wearing-away processes of Nature, all of which are either synonomous with Radiation or accompany it.

Are not these two series Nature's expressions of motion in opposing, balancing and sequential oscillations?

All motions in any direction are resisted. Are there any other directions than two, one of which is the direction of gravitation, confined only to condensed bodies of greater potential than their surrounding environment, and the other of which is the direction of radiation, confined only to expanded bodies of lower potential than that which they displace?

Resistance to all motions of condensing bodies headed toward the high pressure at the gravitative centers of maximum density, increases every one of the effects of gravitation within themselves and within the masses toward which they fall.

Condensing bodies mutually charge each other, thus increasing their density, pressure, potential and all kindred positive effects.

Condensing bodies are attracted to condensing bodies.

That quality we call weight begins to be added to them. Weight is not a fixed quality of matter. It changes in every mass according to its distance from its high pressure point.

Weight is maximum at nucleal centers and lessens as the distance from those centers increases.

A pressure gradient evolves which also is maximum at nucleal centers and lessens as the distance from those centers increases.

This is the process of condensation whether it be in a rain drop, planet or giant nebulae.

Condensation is resisted by the pressures generated by the contracting process of condensation.

Resistance to condensation generates heat. Radiation of generated heat increases condensation. An effect of pulling inward from within is produced.

Radiation of generated heat increases condensation. An effect of pulling inward from within is produced.

This effect of pulling inward from within exactly corresponds to the effect of an electric action which tends to shorten a line of force in the direction of its length.

This effect of electric action exactly corresponds to the attraction of gravitation.

This effect of gravitation exactly corresponds to the pulling-inward-from-within-contracting effect of generation.

The gravitation action of pulling inward from within meets with its reaction, the resistance of the force which pushes outward from within.

There can be no expression of force without resistance.

Neither man nor cosmos can pull or push against a void. The cosmic force develops pressures against which it pulls and pushes.

The entire universe is made up of variable pressures running in gradients from high to low.

Along these pressure gradients of forming and formed masses, every mass of every system finds a proper orbit for it's potential.

Radiative energy, such as the sound of a human voice for example, centripetally girdles the globe in these pressure gradients until it gradually loses itself in the low pressures of space and reproduces itself again in the next mass.

This effect is as applicable to the atom as to the planet.

All energy is transformed in this manner and is repeated by the resistances set up against the effort to transfer.

It is due to resistances that every action of free energy expresses itself in curved lines and makes an action in straight lines impossible. see Propositions Demonstrating the Relative Properties of Straight and Curved Lines

Resistance to every action or reaction bends the line of direction of either of the opposed forces away from a straight line into a centripetal spiral.

The vortex of each spiral is the high pressure gravitative center of a mass, or system, so formed.

The high pressure so developed is the result of the contracting effect of condensation which stores energy from large volume to small volume by winding it up centripetally into systems of spheres.

Each consecutive sphere decreases in density from its gravitative center outwards to its surface.

Each separate sphere decreases in density from its gravitative center outwards to its surface.

The action of that phenomenon of motion which pulls inward from within is the cause of the closing, or centripetal spiral. The centripetal force of motion is the generating force. Centripetal spirals might be generalized as male and centrifugal, or opening spirals, as female.

We have accounted for the regeneration of the male, positive force which condenses, contracts, generates, integrates bodies which mutually charge each other in the action of contraction.

Resistance reproduces both sexes.

Let us consider the other sex.

That which is generated must be radiated.

The action of generation raises the potential of the mass by charging it.

Resistance of these forces to each other in their efforts to overcome inertia, is the reproductive force which repeats.

If condensing bodies are charging bodies and if condensing bodies fall toward condensing bodies in lines which eventually meet, it is logical to conclude that they are attracted toward each other. All bodies which approach each other mutually charge each other. It also follows that if condensing bodies are charging, and if charging bodies are endothermic, energy absorbing, contracting bodies, then they are increasingly plus, or increasingly positive, their increase being in the ratio of condensation toward greater density.

If approaching bodies mutually charge each other, and the evidence of it is indisputable, this mutual charging must be the cause of the attraction of gravitation. If this is true then that force which, through condensation, causes matter to store itself in less volume of greater solidity, must be the generative force.

On the contrary if receding bodies mutually discharge each other, this mutual discharge must be the cause of the repulsion of radiation. Is it not true that discharging bodies repel each other? Does not every effect of decomposition or radiation depart from high to low pressures in mutually repellant lines as though pushed outward from within? If this is true then the word 'charge" belongs only to the positive or plus force of graviation and the word "discharge" belongs only to the negative or minus force of radiation.

In this gravitative effect of charging let us see if we haven't found the secret of generation in the storage of energy through the mutual attraction of positively charging, condensing bodies.

Consider the apple....

From somewhere in the expanse of space the universal alternating expansion - compression pump gathers low potential into contracted high potential until an apple evolves to full maturity.

The apple has "weight" in respect to its environment.

It has accumulated much more energy and of a higher potential than the surrounding air because it has packed hundreds of millions of atoms into each cubic centimeter of apple than the air contains.

It seems evident that the universe is divided into high and low pressure zones wherever any active force takes place. It is inconceivable that part of the universe is imbued with the force of motion and part of it is inert.

The drawing is not clear enough and there does not appear to be any writings that discuss the intricate spiral form or function within the Armature. Our determination at this time is there is not enough information currently in hand to accurately reproduce whatever it is inside the Armature. My best guess, at this time, is these patterns are an attempt to capture and compress/disperse the etheric +3- and +4- dimensions of power.

The third drawing [see Figure 1.1.1 below] refers to "plaster casts" of these internal Armature patterns. Of course that was in 1958. Do these casts still exist? These plaster castings would guide us in a proper direction, if they exist. Our current thinking is until and unless more information is obtained this project is on indefinite hold. Current understandings do not warrant the considerable investment of time and money into replicating this device. However, one could conceivably replicate the coils to study out their form and function. As also the form and function of the central copper disk which reminds me of the Testatika spinning disk which itself is not unlike a Wimhurst disk or Homopolar Motor. Dale Pond

In this section the actual physical design and construction of the Optic Dynamo-Generator will be explored, part by part and function by function. This page covers mechanical design, parts and sub-systems. The function, laws and principles of the dynamics in this device have been exposed in Polar Interchange - Parts I-IV.

The Figures 1.1 and 1.1.1 are marked 1958 making it an earlier drawing than the notes we have dated 1961. Accordingly, these drawings are not a working design. Russell began with these to make his constructions in 1961 and subsequently modified several times. We do not have drawings of the 1961 fabrications and modifications. We do have some of the notes. So we begin with what we have in hand....

OBSERVATIONS 1 - It is believed (as of March 06, 2013) this design resembles a shorted armature that creates its own field. This dynamic may play a significant role or maybe not at all. 2- Because the Steel Armature has a divided center of mass/gravity it is assumed any fields are "pulsed" along the Commutator Disk and picked up by the brushes.

The device is built in two mirror sections as though they represent two vortices intermingled. Each side of the device mirrors the other side as a mated pair. These two mirror sections are marked "A" on the left and "B" on the right. Parts are labeled below with and "A" or "B" indicating which side of the device.

   The measurements taken for this armature are approximately those of SATURN which turns at great speed at its equator because of its oblateness which necessitates two gravitational foci instead of one center of gravity. A perfect sphere which has a balanced center of gravity, will not turn, but the instart [sic?] of their becoming oblater they turn with increasing speed - (centrifugally exerted) until they create so great a hole within them that they cannot hold together.
   EVERY SUN AND PLANET IN THE HEAVENS ARE THE ARMATURES OF NATURE'S DYNAMOS. THEY ALL REVOLVE IN THE PLANES OF THEIR EQUATORS, AT RIGHT ANGLES TO THEIR POLAR AXIES.    It is to be hoped that this form of dynamo will permit of four, or more, currents being generated from the same armature and commutator. This is, of course, dependent upon whether four sets of inductor wiring can be carried through the whole commutator disk, and that is a questions for expert technicians to decide, and to work out, it possible. It should be possible, however.

   This armature and commutator was designed with the hope that we could carry off four circuits on this present design, instead of only one. Eventually ten circuits should be carried off. If the commutator split shaft rings, which reverse the current, are too far away from the shaft center, as now designed, which makes the shaft 11 inches in diameter instead of two or three, it might me [be] necessary to elliminate [eliminate] the ball bearings on the fixed shaft, and actually carry the whole armature on small shaft. The commutator rings could then be made in four sets and attached to the shaft inside the coils. The four sets of brushes on the copper disc could then be connected with their corresponding pair.
   It would be much better though, if we could have a fixed shaft with ball bearings. It would be more simple.
