Ingredients: - 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature - 1 cup granulated sugar - 2 large eggs - 1 tsp pure vanilla extract - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1 tsp baking soda - 1/2 tsp salt - 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:

3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips.
6. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden brown.
8. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies cool for 5 minutes on the sheet.
9. Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Enjoy your freshly baked cookies!
