How to Back Up Favorites in Internet Explorer
To back up your favorites in Internet Explorer, you can follow these steps:
1. Open Internet Explorer and click on the "Favorites" button, which looks like a star icon, located at the top-right corner of the window.
2. Select "Import and Export" from the drop-down menu.
3. In the Import/Export Settings window, select "Export to a file" and click "Next."
4. Select "Favorites" and click "Next."
5. Choose the folder that you want to back up, or select "Favorites" to back up all of your bookmarks, and click "Next."
6. Choose where you want to save the backup file and what you want to name it. By default, it will be named "bookmark.htm" and saved to your Documents folder. You can change this by clicking on "Browse" and selecting a different location and file name.
7. Click "Export" to save the backup file.
Your favorites have now been backed up, and you can restore them by following the same steps but choosing "Import from a file" instead of "Export to a file."
