How to Add a Preferred Language on a Mac

From freem

To add a preferred language on a Mac, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Apple menu on the top left corner of your screen. 2. Select "System Preferences" from the dropdown menu. 3. Click on "Language & Region". 4. Click on the "+" button on the bottom left corner of the window. 5. Choose the language you want to add from the list of available languages, or type it in the search bar. 6. Click on "Add" to add the language to your list of preferred languages. 7. Drag the language to the top of the list to make it your primary language. 8. If you want to set the language for your entire system, click on the "Use [language]" button next to the language you just added.

Once you have added your preferred language, it will be used as the default language for your Mac, and you will be able to use it in any application that supports that language.
