How to Add Friends in Blackberry Messenger for Android

Blackberry Messenger, also known as BBM, was a popular instant messaging service developed by Blackberry Limited. BBM is no longer available for Android or any other platform. The service was discontinued in 2019.

However, Blackberry has introduced a new messaging app called "Blackberry Messenger Enterprise" or BBMe for short. BBMe is available for Android and iOS devices and can be used for secure messaging and group communication.

To add friends in BBMe, follow these steps:

1. Download and install the BBMe app from the Google Play Store. 2. Open the BBMe app on your Android device. 3. Sign up for a new account or sign in if you already have an account. 4. Tap on the "Contacts" tab at the bottom of the screen. 5. Tap on the "+" icon located at the top right corner of the screen. 6. Enter the email address or phone number of the person you want to add as a friend. 7. Tap the "Add" button. 8. If the person you added is already using BBMe, they will receive a notification to accept your request. Once they accept your request, they will be added to your contacts list.

Note: BBMe uses end-to-end encryption for messages, voice and video calls. It also allows for secure group chats, file sharing and message retraction.
