How to Add External Image Editors to FastStone Image Viewer

FastStone Image Viewer is a versatile image viewer and editor that allows you to view, edit, and convert images. While FastStone Image Viewer has a range of editing tools built-in, you may want to use an external image editor to perform more advanced edits. In this case, you can easily add external image editors to FastStone Image Viewer. Here's how to do it:

1. Open FastStone Image Viewer and click on the "Settings" button on the top right corner of the program window.

2. In the Settings dialog box, click on the "Editing" tab.

3. Under the "External Editors" section, click on the "Add" button.

4. In the "Add External Editor" dialog box, enter the name of the editor you want to add and click on the "..." button to browse for the executable file of the editor.

5. Once you have located the executable file, select it and click "Open". You will then see the path to the editor's executable file in the "Command" field.

6. In the "Arguments" field, you can add any command-line arguments that are required by the editor. If you are not sure what arguments to use, you can check the editor's documentation or website.

7. Click on "OK" to save the changes and close the "Add External Editor" dialog box.

8. You will now see the editor you added listed under the "External Editors" section. You can move the editor up or down in the list by clicking on the "Move Up" or "Move Down" buttons.

9. Click on "OK" to save the changes and close the Settings dialog box.

10. To use the external editor you added, simply open an image in FastStone Image Viewer and right-click on it. From the context menu, select the external editor you want to use. FastStone Image Viewer will then launch the editor with the selected image.

That's it! You can now use an external image editor with FastStone Image Viewer to perform advanced image editing tasks.
