To add attachments on Gmail, follow these steps:

1. Open Gmail: Go to the Gmail website and sign in to your account.

2. Compose an email: Click on the "Compose" button in the top-left corner of the screen to start a new email.

3. Click on the "Attach files" icon: The icon looks like a paperclip and can be found at the bottom of the compose window.

4. Select the file(s) you want to attach: A file explorer window will pop up, allowing you to select the file(s) you want to attach. You can select multiple files by holding down the Ctrl key (Windows) or Command key (Mac) while clicking on them.

5. Upload the file(s): Once you have selected the file(s), click on the "Open" button to upload them to your email.

6. Send the email: After you have attached the file(s), you can complete the rest of your email and then click on the "Send" button to send it.

Note: The maximum attachment size on Gmail is 25 MB. If your file is larger than that, you may need to use a file-sharing service such as Google Drive or Dropbox to send it.
