How to Add an NPC to the Household in the Sims

To add an NPC (Non-Playable Character) to the household in The Sims, follow these steps:

1. Use the "testingcheats true" command. Press "Ctrl + Shift + C" to open the cheat console, then type "testingcheats true" and press Enter. This will enable cheat codes in the game.

2. Shift + Click on the NPC. To select an NPC, you can click on them while holding down the "Shift" key. This will open a menu with various options.

3. Select "Add to Household." From the menu, choose "Add to Household." This will add the NPC to your active household.

4. Edit the Sim. Once the NPC is added to the household, you can edit their traits, appearance, and other settings to your liking using the Create-a-Sim tool.

Note: Keep in mind that some NPCs, such as maids and gardeners, may disappear from the game if you add them to the household. Additionally, adding too many Sims to the household can cause performance issues and may impact gameplay.
