How to Add Programs in Windows Startup
Adding programs to Windows startup can be useful if you frequently use certain applications and want them to launch automatically when you start your computer. Here are the steps to add programs in Windows startup:
1. Press the Windows key + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.
2. Type "shell:startup" (without quotes) in the Run dialog box and press Enter. This will open the Startup folder.
3. In the Startup folder, right-click and select "New" -> "Shortcut".
4. In the "Create Shortcut" dialog box, enter the location of the program you want to add to startup. You can browse for the program's executable file by clicking "Browse" or type the file path manually.
5. Click "Next" and enter a name for the shortcut. You can use the default name or enter a new one.
6. Click "Finish" to create the shortcut in the Startup folder.
7. Restart your computer to see the program launch automatically when Windows starts.
Note: Not all programs are suitable for automatic startup, as they can slow down your computer's performance. Be selective in choosing which programs to add to startup.
