Activating Safe Mode in Windows 10 is a useful troubleshooting tool that can help you diagnose and fix problems with your computer. Here's how to activate Safe Mode:

Method 1: Using the System Configuration Tool

1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box. 2. Type msconfig and press Enter. This will open the System Configuration tool. 3. Click on the Boot tab. 4. Under Boot options, select the Safe boot checkbox. 5. Click OK. 6. A message box will appear asking you to restart your computer. Click on Restart to activate Safe Mode.

Method 2: Using the Shift + Restart Method

1. Click on the Start button and then click on the Power button. 2. Hold down the Shift key and click on Restart. 3. Your computer will restart and the Advanced Startup Options menu will appear. 4. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. 5. After your computer restarts, you'll see a list of options. Press 4 or F4 on your keyboard to select Safe Mode.

Method 3: Using the Settings app

1. Click on the Start button and then click on the Settings icon (gear icon). 2. Click on Update & Security. 3. Click on Recovery. 4. Under Advanced startup, click on Restart now. 5. After your computer restarts, you'll see the Advanced Startup Options menu. 6. Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart. 7. After your computer restarts, you'll see a list of options. Press 4 or F4 on your keyboard to select Safe Mode.

Once you've activated Safe Mode, you can troubleshoot your computer and fix any problems that may be causing issues. To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your computer normally.
