SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Google is donating most $7 million to give up San Francisco to carry on providing discharge motorbus and other shipping services to low-income metropolis kids.
City officials announced the contribution on Thursday and said it wish brood an additional deuce years of the discharge transportation system programme. The political platform is currently funded by a regional transit way through with June 2014.
The contribution comes as Google and other engineering companies font literary criticism over common soldier buses they use of goods and services to blame up employees in San Francisco. Technology workers are likewise accused of impulsive up rents and kontol gentrifying the urban center.
