### Assistant: You’re probably thinking of “fargin’ icehole” — from Johnny Dangerously 1984.[edit](https://freemwiki.com/index.php?title=Openai/69405308-62f8-800f-ac5e-b9b953a6a687&action=edit&section=4 "Edit section: Assistant: You’re probably thinking of “fargin’ icehole” — from Johnny Dangerously 1984.")

You’re probably thinking of “fargin’ icehole” — from Johnny Dangerously (1984).

That movie uses a bunch of fake curse words, including:

*   fargin’ (fake “f-word”)
*   icehole (fake “a-hole”)
*   bastages
*   sum-bitch

When people half-remember it, it often comes out sounding like “farfetnugent” or “fargetnugget” because of the accent and delivery.

If that’s not it, the only other super-common misheard one people mix it up with is “fuggedaboutit”, but the Nugent-sounding one is almost always fargin’ icehole.

If you want, tell me the scene or actor and I’ll nail it exactly.

### Assistant: The word you’re reaching for is “farfegnugen” also spelled farfegnügen.[edit](https://freemwiki.com/index.php?title=Openai/69405308-62f8-800f-ac5e-b9b953a6a687&action=edit&section=6 "Edit section: Assistant: The word you’re reaching for is “farfegnugen” also spelled farfegnügen.")

The word you’re reaching for is “farfegnugen” (also spelled farfegnügen).

It’s a Yiddish word meaning deep pleasure / satisfaction / joy, and it’s the exact thing people half-remember as fargetnugent / farfetnugent.

That’s the one.
