How to Bake Spaghetti Squash

Baking spaghetti squash is a healthy and delicious way to enjoy this versatile vegetable. Here are the steps to bake spaghetti squash:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise with a sharp knife. Be careful when doing this as the squash can be tough to cut through.

3. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and stringy flesh from the inside of the squash.

4. Place the two halves of the squash, cut-side down, on a baking sheet.

5. Bake the squash in the preheated oven for 35-45 minutes or until the flesh is tender and easily pierced with a fork.

6. Remove the squash from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes until it's cool enough to handle.

7. Use a fork to scrape the flesh of the squash, which will come apart in long strands resembling spaghetti.

8. Serve the spaghetti squash immediately as a side dish or use it as a healthy substitute for pasta in your favorite recipes.

Optional: You can also add seasonings or toppings to the squash before or after baking. Drizzle olive oil and sprinkle salt and pepper for simple seasoning, or try adding garlic, herbs, or grated Parmesan cheese for more flavor.
