How to Apply Mascara

Applying mascara is a quick and easy way to make your eyes look more awake and defined. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you apply mascara like a pro:

1. Prep your lashes: Before applying mascara, make sure your lashes are clean and dry. You can use an eyelash curler to curl your lashes for added lift and definition.

2. Choose your mascara: There are many types of mascara available, including lengthening, volumizing, waterproof, and curling formulas. Choose a mascara that meets your needs and preferences.

3. Remove excess mascara from the wand: When you remove the wand from the tube, wipe off any excess mascara on the rim of the tube to avoid clumps.

4. Apply mascara to your lashes: Starting at the base of your lashes, gently wiggle the wand back and forth as you move it upwards towards the tips of your lashes. Repeat this process on the outer and inner corners of your eyes.

5. Apply a second coat: Wait a few seconds for the first coat of mascara to dry, then apply a second coat following the same technique.

6. Fix any clumps: If you notice any clumps or excess mascara, use a clean spoolie brush or a lash comb to separate your lashes and remove any excess product.

7. Let your mascara dry: Wait a few minutes for your mascara to dry before applying any other eye makeup.

Tips:

- Avoid pumping the mascara wand in and out of the tube, as this can introduce air and cause your mascara to dry out more quickly.

- If you have trouble applying mascara to your lower lashes, try using a smaller wand or a mascara designed specifically for lower lashes.

- For a more dramatic look, apply mascara to both the top and bottom lashes.

- If you make a mistake or get mascara on your skin, use a cotton swab or a makeup wipe to remove it.
