To appear offline on Yahoo Messenger, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Yahoo Messenger account. 2. Click on the "Messenger" tab at the top left of the screen. 3. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu. 4. In the "Preferences" window, click on the "Privacy" tab. 5. Check the box next to "Always sign in as invisible to everyone" option. 6. Click on "Apply" and then "OK" to save the changes.
