How to Add 3D Notes in Pro Engineer
Pro Engineer (now known as Creo Parametric) is a powerful computer-aided design (CAD) software that allows users to create and manipulate 3D models. Adding 3D notes in Pro Engineer can be useful to communicate design intent and instructions to other users or to remind yourself of important details. Here's how to add 3D notes in Pro Engineer:
1. Open your 3D model in Pro Engineer.
2. Click on the "Annotation" tab at the top of the screen.
3. Select "Note" from the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the location in the 3D model where you want to place the note.
5. Type your note into the text box that appears. You can change the font, size, and color of the text using the toolbar at the top of the screen.
6. Adjust the position and orientation of the note by clicking and dragging it. You can also resize the note by clicking and dragging one of the corner handles.
7. If you want to attach the note to a specific feature or component in the model, right-click on the feature or component and select "Attach Note" from the menu. Then, click on the location where you want to place the note.
8. Save your changes to the 3D model.
That's it! You've now added a 3D note to your Pro Engineer model.
