How to Activate Active X

ActiveX is a technology that allows applications to share functionality and data with other programs running on a Windows computer. Activating ActiveX controls on your computer can be necessary for certain websites and applications to work correctly. Here are the steps to activate ActiveX:

1. Open Internet Explorer: ActiveX controls are usually used in Internet Explorer, so open it up.

2. Click on "Tools": In the top menu of Internet Explorer, click on "Tools."

3. Click on "Internet Options": In the "Tools" menu, click on "Internet Options."

4. Click on the "Security" tab: In the "Internet Options" dialog box, click on the "Security" tab.

5. Select the desired security zone: Select the security zone where you want to enable ActiveX controls. You can choose from "Internet," "Local intranet," "Trusted sites," and "Restricted sites."

6. Click on "Custom level": In the "Security" tab, click on "Custom level" to open the "Security Settings" dialog box.

7. Enable ActiveX controls: In the "Security Settings" dialog box, scroll down to the "ActiveX controls and plug-ins" section. Enable the options for "Download signed ActiveX controls," "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins," and "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting."

8. Click "OK": Once you have enabled the ActiveX controls, click on "OK" to close the "Security Settings" dialog box.

9. Restart Internet Explorer: Close and reopen Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

Once you have completed these steps, the ActiveX controls should be activated on your computer. However, keep in mind that enabling ActiveX controls can make your computer more vulnerable to security threats, so it's important to use caution when downloading and running ActiveX controls from the internet.
