Nasonex is a prescription medication used to treat nasal symptoms associated with seasonal allergies and certain other nasal conditions. It is administered as a nasal spray and should only be used as directed by a healthcare provider. Here are some general guidelines for administering Nasonex:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the medication.

2. Shake the bottle well before each use.

3. Blow your nose gently to clear your nasal passages before using the medication.

4. Remove the cap from the bottle.

5. Hold the bottle with your thumb at the bottom and your index and middle fingers on either side of the nozzle.

6. Tilt your head slightly forward and insert the nozzle into one nostril. Close the other nostril with your finger.

7. While breathing in through your nose, spray the medication into your nostril. Be sure to aim the nozzle away from the center of your nose towards the outer wall.

8. Breathe out through your mouth.

9. Repeat steps 6-8 for the other nostril.

10. After using the medication, wipe the nozzle clean with a clean tissue and replace the cap.

11. Do not blow your nose immediately after using the medication.

12. Follow the dosing instructions provided by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

13. Store the medication at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.
