How to Acid Wash Jeans

Acid washing is a technique used to create a vintage, faded look on jeans. It involves treating denim fabric with a solution of bleach or chemicals to lighten the color and create a mottled, "acid-washed" appearance. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to acid wash jeans:

1. Choose the right jeans: Acid washing works best on 100% cotton jeans. Avoid jeans that contain spandex or other synthetic fibers as these may not react well with the acid wash solution.
