Install baby gates: Place baby gates at the top and bottom of stairs, and in doorways or other areas where you don't want your baby to go. 3. Secure furniture: Use furniture straps to secure bookcases, dressers, and other large pieces of furniture to the wall so they don't tip over. 4. Lock cabinets and drawers: Use cabinet locks or drawer latches to keep your baby from getting into cabinets and drawers that contain hazardous items. 5. Store hazardous items up high: Keep cleaning supplies, medications, and other hazardous items up high and out of reach of your baby. 6. Use window guards: Install window guards to prevent your baby from falling out of windows. 7. Use door stoppers: Use door stoppers to prevent your baby's fingers from getting caught in doors. 8. Remove small objects: Keep small objects, such as coins and buttons, out of reach of your baby to prevent choking hazards. 9. Check for cords: Keep cords for blinds, curtains, and other items out of reach of your baby. 10. Keep floors clear: Keep floors clear of toys, shoes, and other objects that your baby could trip over or put in their mouth.
