Adding a friend on Yahoo is a straightforward process. Here are the steps: 1. Sign in to your Yahoo account. 2. Click on the "Contacts" icon, which looks like a person silhouette, on the left side of the page. 3. Click on the "New Contact" button, which looks like a person with a plus sign. 4. Enter your friend's name and email address in the appropriate fields. 5. Click on the "Save" button to save the contact. Once you have added your friend as a contact, you can send them an email or instant message through Yahoo Messenger. To send an email, click on the "Compose" button in the upper left corner of the page and enter your friend's email address in the "To" field. To send an instant message, click on the "Messenger" icon at the top of the page and select your friend from your list of contacts.
