Adding friends on Xbox One is a straightforward process. Here are the steps: 1. Sign in to your Xbox One account. 2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the guide. 3. Use the joystick or directional pad to select the Friends tab. 4. Select the "Find someone" option and type in the gamertag of the person you want to add. 5. Select the gamertag from the list of results. 6. Select "Add friend" to send a friend request to that person. Alternatively, if you already know the gamertag of the person you want to add, you can: 1. Sign in to your Xbox One account. 2. Press the Xbox button on your controller to bring up the guide. 3. Use the joystick or directional pad to select the Friends tab. 4. Select the "Add friends" option. 5. Enter the gamertag of the person you want to add. 6. Select "Search" to find the gamertag. 7. Select the gamertag from the list of results. 8. Select "Add friend" to send a friend request to that person. Once you've sent a friend request, the other person will need to accept it before you can become friends on Xbox One. You can also manage your friends list by selecting the "Friends & clubs" option in the guide and choosing "Friends" to view your list of friends.
