Adding friends and contacts in Facebook Messenger is a simple process. Here are the steps you need to follow: 1. Open the Facebook Messenger app: To add friends and contacts in Facebook Messenger, you will first need to open the app on your smartphone or tablet. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play Store. 2. Tap on your profile picture: Once you've opened the app, you'll see your profile picture in the top left corner of the screen. Tap on it to open your profile. 3. Tap on "People": On your profile page, you'll see a menu of options. Tap on "People" to access your contacts list. 4. Search for the person you want to add: In the "People" section, you can search for the person you want to add by typing their name in the search bar. You can also scroll through your contacts list to find them. 5. Tap on the person's name: When you've found the person you want to add, tap on their name to open their profile. 6. Tap on "Add Friend": On the person's profile page, you'll see an option to "Add Friend". Tap on this to send them a friend request. 7. Wait for them to accept your request: Once you've sent the friend request, you'll need to wait for the other person to accept it. When they do, you'll be able to message them through Facebook Messenger. Alternatively, if you already have a Facebook account and are friends with the person on Facebook, they will automatically appear in your Facebook Messenger contacts list. You can simply tap on their name and start messaging them.
