To activate edge scrolling in Ubuntu 14.0, follow these steps: 1. Open the Unity Dash by clicking on the Ubuntu logo at the top left corner of the screen, or by pressing the Super key on your keyboard. 2. Type "mouse" into the search bar and click on the "Mouse & Touchpad" option that appears. 3. In the "Mouse & Touchpad" window, click on the "Touchpad" tab. 4. Under the "Scrolling" section, you should see an option for "Edge Scrolling". Click on the toggle switch to turn it on. 5. You can also adjust the speed and sensitivity of edge scrolling by using the sliders in the same "Scrolling" section. 6. Close the "Mouse & Touchpad" window and start using your touchpad. You should now be able to scroll by swiping your finger along the edge of the touchpad. Note: If you don't see the option for "Edge Scrolling", it may be because your touchpad doesn't support this feature. In that case, you can try using the two-finger scrolling option instead, which is available in the same "Scrolling" section.
