====== Public Noticeboard-Style Message ====== Public Request to Shalfleet Parish Council – Let’s Make Everything Clear Dear Councillors, I’d like to invite you to proactively publish the full suite of financial and governance documents you’re legally required to share. This includes AGARs, audit reports, and a summary of spending over £100, both on the new parish website and on community noticeboards. I filmed a full page-by-page review of last year’s audit with your RFO, noting unusually high charges—unfortunately, that video was later deleted (possibly due to required redaction), and there are ongoing cybersecurity concerns affecting my equipment and accounts. If this information isn’t forthcoming voluntarily, I may submit a formal request via WhatDoTheyKnow.com, a public-benefit FOI platform widely used across UK councils. Hundreds of thousands of FOI requests—around 500,000—have been filed through it to help improve transparency en.wikipedia.org<ref>{{cite web|title=en.wikipedia.org|url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WhatDoTheyKnow|publisher=en.wikipedia.org|access-date=2025-11-18}}</ref>localgovernmentlawyer.co.uk<ref>{{cite web|title=localgovernmentlawyer.co.uk|url=https://localgovernmentlawyer.co.uk/information-law/398-information-law-news/40437-nearly-half-a-million-foi-requests-made-to-councils-each-year-research|publisher=localgovernmentlawyer.co.uk|access-date=2025-11-18}}</ref>. Thank you for acting openly and restoring the community’s trust. Would you like me to help you post this to both Facebook groups or turn it into a flyer for local noticeboards?
