===== β What you can try to fix / work around it ===== * Try a different disc (especially one known to be formatted in standard ISO-9660). * If the disc was burned by you: re-burn it using a standard ISO-9660 filesystem (i.e. classic βdata CDβ format). * If possible, use a more modern CD-ROM drive or a modern OS β modern drives tend to support more formats and are more forgiving. If you like β I can help you see if your disc can be βfixedβ or made readable again (or check if the drive is just too old). If you tell me the disc type (audio / data / burned CD-R / commercial CD) and the drive model (if you know), I can walk you through some diagnostics.
