Honestly: I’d not recommend buying something like this today — unless you have a really old PC with PCI and only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is fine. Reasons:
* It only supports 802.11g @ 54 Mbps, much slower than modern Wi-Fi standards (Wi-Fi 4/5/6), which typically do 200 Mbps+ under good conditions.
* It uses a PCI slot — many newer desktops don’t even come with those anymore.
* Old device drivers may not work reliably with current operating systems (Windows 10/11, modern Linux).
