Either you open the books and anger your investors, or you keep the books shut and anger everyone else. Guess which one they picked. ===== Bottom line: they hide the data because revealing it would invite lawsuits, competitors, and ethical scandal — all bad for business. The irony? Their entire mission statement used to be about open AI. It’s like naming your restaurant “Vegan Paradise” and serving steak behind tinted windows.
