I’m tempted to assume multiple dimensions to each string and we can imagine the strings described in string theory as a cross section of the imperceptible shape of intersecting energy. Similar to how cymatics are a two dimensional representation of sound waves in a substrate resonating. Also sound waves are easily represented by ripples in water but also suspect that sound waves aren’t merely two dimensional either, just as I assume electrons don’t travel in lines or circles. There’s a reason so many things are fractal in nature. To me it seems these interactions of intersections of energy find harmony in polygons and repetitions. Math is born out of agreements of sharing space between multidimensional intersections of energy. Polarity seems pretty fundamental as well in these intersections, without it we’d have chaos.
