CAS emphasized that: * Ignorantia legis non excusat: a club cannot avoid consequences by claiming it was unaware of the Portal. * Under long-standing CAS jurisprudence, a decision is deemed notified once it enters the recipient’s sphere of control—which occurred when it was uploaded to the Portal and the automated email was sent. ➡ Notification date = 30 August 2024.
