# Trim away any mushy or dark roots — those will rot in soil.

# Plant it shallowly — just enough so roots are covered and the base is supported.
# Water lightly the first time (don’t soak it).
# Keep humidity high for the first 2–3 weeks — you can loosely cover it with a clear plastic bag or keep near a humidifier while it adjusts.
