Editing How to Add Friends on the Nintendo 3DS

To add friends on the Nintendo 3DS, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your Nintendo 3DS and go to the Home menu.

2. Tap the orange smiley face icon on the top of the touch screen. This will take you to the Friend List.

3. Tap the "Register Friend" button at the bottom of the touch screen.

4. Choose how you want to add your friend:

   a. Local wireless - if you're near your friend and both have Nintendo 3DS systems, choose this option and follow the prompts to connect your systems.

   b. Internet - if your friend is not nearby or does not have a Nintendo 3DS, choose this option and enter your friend's friend code. Your friend must give you their friend code for this to work.

5. Once you've connected with your friend, you can see when they're online and what games they're playing by checking your Friend List.

Note: You can add up to 100 friends on your Nintendo 3DS.
