Bread baskets are a delicious and unique way to serve bread during a meal. They are also a great way to impress your guests with your baking skills. Here's how to make bread baskets: Ingredients: - 500g bread flour - 10g salt - 7g instant yeast - 350ml warm water - 2 tablespoons olive oil - Extra flour for dusting Instructions: 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, salt, and instant yeast. Mix well. 2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until the dough comes together. 3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. 4. Place the dough in a clean bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and leave to rise for 1-2 hours, or until doubled in size. 5. Preheat your oven to 200Β°C. 6. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 6-8 equal portions. 7. Roll each portion into a ball, then use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into a disc about 1cm thick. 8. Grease the outside of a small, oven-safe bowl, then place the dough disc over the bowl, shaping it to form a basket. Repeat with the remaining dough portions. 9. Bake the bread baskets in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. 10. Remove the bread baskets from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the bowls. 11. Serve the bread baskets warm with your favorite dips, spreads, or fillings. Enjoy your freshly baked bread baskets!
