2. Apply a base coat to your nails. Make sure to coat the entire nail, including the tips. Avoid getting the base coat on your skin or cuticles, as this can cause lifting and peeling of the gel polish.

3. Apply the gel nail polish to your nails, starting from the base and working your way up to the tips. Apply a thin layer and make sure to cover the entire nail. If you want a more opaque color, you can apply a second coat after the first one has cured.

4. Cure the gel polish with a UV or LED lamp according to the manufacturer's instructions. Most gel nail polishes require curing for about 30-60 seconds under a UV lamp or 10-30 seconds under an LED lamp. Make sure to cure each nail separately.

5. Apply a top coat to your nails, covering the entire nail and the tips. This will protect your nails and help the polish last longer. Cure the top coat under the lamp for the recommended time.

6. After curing, use a nail cleanser or rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue left on your nails. This will make your nails shiny and smooth.
