Advantix is a topical solution used for flea, tick, and mosquito prevention in dogs. Here's how you can apply Advantix to your dog: 1. Purchase the correct dosage of Advantix for your dog's weight. The packaging will have information on the recommended dosage based on your dog's weight. 2. Choose a spot on your dog's back between the shoulder blades where it will be difficult for them to lick or scratch the area. 3. Part the fur to expose the skin and apply the Advantix directly onto the skin, not onto the fur. Squeeze the entire contents of the applicator onto the skin. 4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 in one or two additional spots along your dog's back, depending on their weight and the dosage recommended on the packaging. 5. Allow the Advantix to dry completely before allowing your dog to groom themselves or to come into contact with other pets or people. 6. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying Advantix. Note: Do not use Advantix on cats or on dogs that are under 7 weeks old. If your dog has a medical condition or is pregnant or nursing, consult with your veterinarian before using Advantix. Follow all instructions and precautions on the packaging. If your dog experiences any adverse reactions, contact your veterinarian immediately.
