To apologize in German, you can use the following phrases: 1. Es tut mir leid. (I'm sorry.) 2. Entschuldigung. (Excuse me / Sorry.) 3. Verzeihung. (Excuse me / I beg your pardon / Sorry.) 4. Es war meine Schuld. (It was my fault.) 5. Ich möchte mich bei dir / Ihnen entschuldigen. (I would like to apologize to you.) 6. Bitte verzeihen Sie mir. (Please forgive me.) 7. Es tut mir wirklich sehr leid. (I am truly very sorry.) 8. Ich bereue, was ich getan habe. (I regret what I did.) 9. Wie kann ich mich wieder gutmachen? (How can I make it up to you?) 10. Ich verspreche, dass es nicht noch einmal passieren wird. (I promise it won't happen again.) Remember that in German, it is important to use the correct form of address (du or Sie) depending on the situation and level of formality.
