digiKam is a powerful open-source photo management tool that allows users to organize, edit, and share their digital photo collections. Adding an album to digiKam is a simple process that can be done in a few easy steps. Here's how to do it: 1. Open digiKam and select the library you want to add the album to. 2. In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to the folder where you want to create the album. If you want to create a new folder, right-click on the parent folder and select "New Album." 3. Enter a name for the album in the "Name" field. 4. Optionally, you can add a description to the album by entering text in the "Description" field. 5. Choose a cover photo for the album by clicking on the "Choose" button next to the "Cover Image" field. This will allow you to select an image from your collection to represent the album. 6. Click "Create" to create the new album. 7. The new album will now appear in the folder you selected, and you can begin adding photos to it by dragging and dropping them from your collection into the album. That's it! You have successfully created a new album in digiKam and can start organizing your photos into it.
