To add friends on Wii U, you can follow these steps: 1. Turn on your Wii U console and go to the Wii U Menu. 2. Select the "Friend List" icon, which is represented by a smiley face. 3. In the Friend List, select "Add Friend" at the top of the screen. 4. You will have two options to add friends: "Search for Users You Know" or "Send Friend Requests." 5. If you choose "Search for Users You Know," you can search for your friends by entering their Nintendo Network ID or email address. 6. If you choose "Send Friend Requests," you can send friend requests to people you have played with online, to people who have sent you friend requests, or to people who are recommended by the Wii U console. 7. Once you have found the friend you want to add, select their profile and choose "Send Friend Request." 8. You can also add friends through Miiverse, the Wii U's social network. To do this, go to Miiverse and find the person you want to add as a friend. Select their profile and choose "Add Friend." 9. After you send a friend request, the person will have to accept it before you can add them to your Friend List. That's it! Once your friend request is accepted, you will be able to see your friend's activity on your Friend List and play games with them online.
