To add Facebook Chat to Pidgin, you need to follow these steps: 1. Open Pidgin and go to "Accounts" > "Manage Accounts". 2. Click on the "Add" button to create a new account. 3. Select "Facebook" from the protocol dropdown menu. 4. Enter your Facebook username (or email address) and password. 5. In the "Advanced" tab, make sure the checkbox for "Require SSL/TLS" is selected. 6. Click the "Save" button to add the account to Pidgin. After adding your Facebook account to Pidgin, you can start chatting with your Facebook friends directly from Pidgin.
