Editing How to Activate Bonjour on iTunes



Bonjour is a networking protocol that allows devices to discover and connect with each other on a local network. It is used by iTunes to enable features such as Home Sharing and music streaming between devices.

To activate Bonjour on iTunes, follow these steps:

1. Open iTunes on your computer.

2. Click on the "iTunes" menu in the top left corner of the screen.

3. Select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

4. Click on the "Sharing" tab in the Preferences window.

5. Check the box next to "Share my library on my local network."

6. Check the box next to "Require password" if you want to password-protect your shared library.

7. Click the "OK" button to save your changes.

Once you have activated Bonjour on iTunes, you should be able to see other devices on your local network that are also running iTunes and have sharing enabled. You can then connect to these devices and access their shared libraries from within iTunes.
